Health and Safety/ Training and Development:

All our operatives have gained the industry recognised CSCS card scheme. We have invested considerably with training and feel it is vital to our business strategy to have on-going Continued Professional Development. Regular 'tool box talks' are conducted in our training room at our Head Office to ensure that Health and Safety is an integral aspect of any of the works we undertake. All staff must attend regular refresher Health and Safety Training and all operatives are qualified in First Aid. We have a policy to encourage each operative to further their knowledge in the building industry and actively support any courses which can enrich the work we do. We frequently attend workshops and conferences which afford our operatives the opportunity to share best practice and reinforce new skills and learning. 

We have participated in a rigorous process to gain the 'flagship' industry  'SAFE contractor' accreditation. This was an extremely lengthly process which further illuminates our committment to the industry. 

Each and every job irrespective of whether it is private works or insurance related is site specific risk assessed. We do not operate to generic risk assessments and are fully conversant with all aspects of CDM regulations, employing a Health and Safety consultancy firm, Bill Rogerson Safety Services Ltd, who regularly undertakes site inspections and site audits. Bill Rogerson can create a full CDM implementation package with our health & safety design programme. This covers all of the legal requirements and is issued, monitored and overseen by himself who liases with our in-house team who are familiar with all CDM implications.
